Drawing on more than two decades of experience litigating contractual and legal disputes for insurance companies, businesses and consumers, Ben has developed a deep passion for resolving complex conflicts. Over the course of his career, he has led and participated in thousands of negotiations, gaining a practical understanding of how disputes can be efficiently resolved. Not every case requires a trial before a finder of fact, and Ben believes that a vast majority of litigated matters benefit from collaborative dispute resolution through mediation. Knowledge gained from more than 26 years in the property and casualty insurance industry – including work as a licensed insurance adjuster before becoming an attorney – gives him valuable insight into the issues and challenges parties face. Using his extensive background litigating complex insurance and contractual matters, Ben combines legal experience with a strong understanding of human nature, psychology, and negotiation. Serving as neutral, he draws on his professional and life experiences to facilitate the resolution of difficult financial, contractual and emotional conflicts, helping parties achieve efficient and lasting resolutions.
